Math 1-2-3® Regents (Math A, Math B) tutors in New York City are true math experts. We hire only those with 5 or more years of math tutoring experience. Being a solid math student does not necessarily mean that the student will have what it takes to qualify to become a Math 1-2-3® tutor. Being a student and being a math specialist are two very different things. All of our tutors have degrees in math or in a related field.
Many Math 1-2-3® tutoring candidates are under the wrong impression that being an "A" student in math qualifies them to work for us. Knowing material and being able to clearly explain that material are not the same. To ensure that our tutors can handle difficult material, we require a minimum of 5 years of experience. Those who are hired as Regents (Math A, Math B) tutors in New York City are able to clearly explain even the most challenging questions. All of our tutors have degrees in math or in a related field.
Some Math 1-2-3® Regents (Math A, Math B) students in New York City came to us only after working with inexperienced tutors. We avoid this problem by requiring our tutors to have at least 5 years of tutoring experience. Being a top student does not necessarily translate into being a great tutor. Even an "A" student may have forgotten many formulas and concepts over the years.
